Learn more about human trafficking and how it has infiltrated your community. If you are a parent, grandparent, or teen, you need the skills to help eradicate this menace. Your efforts can save a life!

Program Highlights

Two detectives working human trafficking  cases in Prince William County, define human trafficking, highlight current local cases, and explain how you can help.

Chelsey Trevino, NOVA-HTI Intervention Coordinator, highlights NOVA-HTI’s work and describes NOVA-HTI policy in terms of advocacy and grassroots efforts to change difficult Virginia laws.

Barbara Jean Wilson, a survivor of child sex trafficking, is an author and dynamic public speaker. After she escaped sexual exploitation and abuse, she earned her degree at Strayer University, and now works full-time at Freddie Mac.

 In 2010, Barbara completed her autobiography, Mute But Now I Speak, which details her journey to freedom. She continues to rely on the truth that she can do anything through  Christ who strengthens her.
